The OYO activities for Wednesday include Company Dinners  There are numerous venues in
NuLu - from classic Italian to Mexican to traditional Steak Houses. Stay at the hotel - there are

Tours makes sure your day is safe and secure. We are receiving a 20% reduction from the normal "private tour"prices for time on theTrail.

If you missed “The Trail” on Wednesday, or you just can’t pass on more great bourbon,
today’s outing features one of the distilleries in the Louisville metro area (Stitzle Willer).
Not as famous as the others, but the bourbon is top notch. A short day so you can get
back for our time at Churchill Downs.

 Churchill Downs Museum

Come and go at your own pace and time. Located at the historic racetrack in the heart
of Louisville, entry to the museum is included as part of our evening’s racing
experience. A walk through racing history; see how the “Run for the Roses: has
become known as the fastest two minutes in racing; take a jaunt through the paddock
area and see these wonderful animals up close.

Nighttime Racing / Dinner

Experience the thrill of racing from an Owner’s Suite overlooking the final 3 furlongs of
“The Downs”. Watch over CCTV or go out onto the covered veranda – the choice is
yours. A dinner buffet is included. Also, we will be awarding the winner’s trophy for the
“Class of ’72 Sweeps” (name may change). Use the transportation to come and go;
while parking is free, negotiating downtown Louisville traffic is not made for the faint of
heart; consider using the buses.

 

Bus to/from Memorial Service

Description

Bus transportation to/From Cathedral of the Assumption  for the Memorial Service  Buses will start at 8:30 AM. If you want to drive, parking costs $10 (so use the bus). If
you want to walk, it is 5 city blocks from the hotel (20 minute walk). A time to reflect; a
time to remember!

Memorial Service

The Memorial Service has become a hallmark of our annual gatherings. This year, the
venue is The Cathedral of the Assumption, the home church for the Archdiocese of
Louisville. Come early for the Continental Breakfast in the fellowship hall.
